Pardon My Obama Ignorance

Pardon my Obama ignorance, but I have a question.

At any time, has it been documented (firm and reliable sources), that Obama ever denounced the actual bombings of September 11th?  Has he ever denounced the people/groups responsible?

All the footage that I see, he will denounce Farakan (however you spell that name), and President Bush for bad decisions, but I never see him denounce the bombings themselves, or the organizations who are responsible for the bombings.

Please no long winded discussion.  Only sources and actual documented information from credible sources that prove that he denounced these two things.

I was discovered at Walmart!

Yes you heard right!  I was walking down the frozen food isle when suddenly my son started laughing profusely.  I turned to look at him and he said "Nooooooo mom, don't turn around."  I was puzzled to say the least.  I wondered what I had sat on, or if someone we knew was behind me.  I was afraid to turn around but I wanted to know what my son was laughing at too.

My son walks up to me and whispers, "Mom you have a huge rip in the butt of your jeans", he giggled.  I felt all the blood rush to my..umm cheeks...I just about fainted because I suddenly remembered that I hurridly put my pants on and had chosen to skip the panties.  Afterall it was only going to be a quick run to pick up some sodas and then come straight back home.

I did my best to keep covered, but I wasn't wearing my normal frump shirt either.  We quickly went to the check out with me holding my shirt down as well as I could..then what happened?  You guessed it!  A lil kid, and someone I knew walked up right umm BEHIND me in line lol.

Anyways, next time you are in a hurry, don't forget your underpants...

Maybe I should warn management that the security tape at Walmart will be X rated today lol.

New Texas Legislation Is Causing Major Stir in Technology Fields:

Section 1702.104 is causing a huge stir in newspaper headlines all over the world today.

What is Section 1702.104 you ask?  Well it depends on who you ask.
According to a recent lawsuit filed it is "A new Texas law that requires every computer repair technician to obtain a private investigator's license.  Furthermore, "Violators can face a $4,000 fine and one year in jail, as well as a $10,000 civil penalty."

So what does the actual law state?

1702.104.  INVESTIGATIONS COMPANY.  (a)  A person acts
as an investigations company for the purposes of this chapter if the
person:
(1)  engages in the business of obtaining or
furnishing, or accepts employment to obtain or furnish, information
related to:
(A)  crime or wrongs done or threatened against a
state or the United States;
(B)  the identity, habits, business, occupation,
knowledge, efficiency, loyalty, movement, location, affiliations,
associations, transactions, acts, reputation, or character of a
person;
(C)  the location, disposition, or recovery of
lost or stolen property; or
(D)  the cause or responsibility for a fire,
libel, loss, accident, damage, or injury to a person or to property;
(2)  engages in the business of securing, or accepts
employment to secure, evidence for use before a court, board,
officer, or investigating committee;
(3)  engages in the business of securing, or accepts
employment to secure, the electronic tracking of the location of an
individual or motor vehicle other than for criminal justice
purposes by or on behalf of a governmental entity; or
(4)  engages in the business of protecting, or accepts
employment to protect, an individual from bodily harm through the
use of a personal protection officer.
(b)  For purposes of Subsection (a)(1), obtaining or
furnishing information includes information obtained or furnished
through the review and analysis of, and the investigation into the
content of, computer-based data not available to the public.

State Rep. Joe Driver, (R-Garland) stated "the bill was intended to protect consumers from privacy invasion and that the problems for computer technicians have been exaggerated. Driver said the only cases in which computer technicians would need a license would be when they are asked to investigate and analyze private data — for example, examining a computer to determine whether the user had committed any illegal activities. "

Why you should never get behind on your rent

My downstairs neighbor is an elderly woman. Since she has been here she has complained repeatedly about the noise coming from my apartment.

I have had two other neighbors in the few years I have been here. None of these neighbors has ever complained about me. The problem is, that the owner hates my guts. I have a "bad reputation" with him because I fell behind on my rent last year. I have since caught up on it, but of course my "legend" moves on with him, despite the fact that I haven't fallen behind on my rent since that time.

Some of the complaints:

Washing machine off balance
Washing machine is fixed but I still hear the water coming through the walls
Sounds like a ball bouncing
They are up all hours of the night
I hear them walking back and forth all night long
She is throwing cigarette butts in my yard

According to my neighbor, She "hasn't slept since she moved in." Now the apartment manager says that my neighbor is moving out. She has used me as an excuse for doing this. Supposedly she is moving to San Antonio. The apartment manager says that she thinks the lady is doing this just so she can get out of paying a reletting fee, however the owner (because of my inequities) would not see things that way.

The apartment manager says she is not telling the owner about the complaints against me, and is instead telling him about the fact that this lady is moving to San Antonio. In the apartment managers own words "Just don't give me a reason to not cover your ass."

Umm hello..I got behind on my rent once. I don't throw parties and I am not loud. This woman has a problem with everyday activities. These are activities that should be expected when you move into an apartment complex. Should I be to blame for this? Should this be held against me? I'm doomed because I ONCE got behind on my rent. I am automatically guilty of all other sins because of it.

I have GOT to get out of here, I'm tired of worring that one noise could suddenly make me homeless.

President Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use. The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants!

There would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down, then bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border.

When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq. Tell him if he wants to come to America then he must serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldiers pay while hes there and tax him on it.

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves.

If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo. Problem solved.

RIP George Carlin. Your truths will be missed.

Only two years ago I was 115 lbs.  I am now 146 lbs.  I am pissed!

Another Day, Some Other Way

Today is just another day, but wow how life has changed.  I used to be this skinny lil girl with major issues with men lol.  Now, I'm a size 10 and I don't give two shits about men (or women).  Now my world is about work and dogs and two teenage boys. 

I have regressed in some ways and I'm soaring above the clouds in other ways, but still inside, I struggle for the peace that I can never quite find.  I long for that comfort of home, that weekend waking on your own (without that damned screeching alarm clock) feeling.

I don't want to wait till retirement to feel that life is beautiful.  I want to feel it now.  I need time to hit the pavement and watch the birds.  I need time to watch the butterflys and laugh at doodle bugs.  I need time to sit outside in the pouring rain.  I need time to just be free (of all the God forsaken responsibilities of life).
